First Year Review
Career goals
I cannot imagine myself doing anything else in my future life than studying, researching and hopefully contributing to my field as a faculty member. Clearly, a Ph.D. degree from UGA is one of the best investments for myself while realizing this dream. Considering my research experience, educational background, eagerness, and goal-oriented personality, I get closer to achieve my dream day by day.
After the graduation, I plan to pursue a tenure-track position in the field of embodied cognition in the United States. My desire to search more about the connection between mind and body encourages me to seek a position at a research laboratory. Prior to pursuing a tenure-track position, on the other hand, I am willing to seek a postdoctoral position in the field of embodied cognition in order to gain research experience.
Here are the sample positions that meet my career goals:
Indiana University, Bloomington- The Cognitive Science Program
